We're looking for a strong leader to take ownership of our 2nd Shift operation. This is more than a supervisory position. It's a critical leadership role that directly influences safety, productivity, quality, and employee engagement across the facility.

With a base range of $70,000-$80,000 annually, plus the opportunity to earn additional income through overtime, you'll have the chance to build your career while leading a team that keeps our operation running at its best. Responsibilities

  • Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Supervise all personnel and daily Production floor operations.
  • Ensure that the production schedule is followed, and quality of finished product meets customer specification.
  • Monitor productivity and adherence to policies, procedures, work instructions and safety.
  • Act as expert for Production related knowledge. Thorough knowledge of all paperwork. SOP, WI, etc. is required.
  • Communicate any issues/concerns to upper management and/or Quality Department to ensure that quality filling and packaging are being met.
  • Ensure rejected material is tracked appropriately.
  • Monitor production supply levels and report shortages to Purchasing.
  • Continuously review processes to increase productivity, quality and profitability.
  • Continuously improve safety records by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes.
  • Motivate and provide feedback and review worker performance.
  • Ensure that HR policies, rules, regulations, and procedures are followed and documented.
  • Monitor housekeeping and 5S throughout the shift.
  • Assist with Training and Orientation.
  • Ensure employees are trained according to their roles.
  • Manages Temporary workforce, place and check- in employees.
  • Responsible for adherence to all Company policies and procedures.
  • Works to improve the effectiveness of the quality management system through the use of the quality policy, quality objectives, audit results, analysis of data, corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure proper PPE and Safety procedures are followed.

 

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination required.
  • 5 years of similar manufacturing experience required, working with filling liquids into bottles, flexible packaging or tubing preferred.
  • Supervisory experience is highly preferred.
  • Basic Mechanical and mathematical aptitude required.
  • The ability to work independently, without supervision required.
  • Ability to organize priorities and workload required.

Pay Range

USD $70,000.00 - USD $80,000.00 /Yr.
