The Machine Operator will perform actual operation of production machinery, including ongoing quality checks and general machine maintenance.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions and Responsbilities
Operate equipment in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Follow safety procedures in accordance with Company guidelines, OSHA standards and other regulatory guidelines.
Monitor quality of the package throughout production.
Pack units at end of production line and palletize boxes.
Monitor production speeds and report machine deficiencies to mechanic or supervisor.
Ensure that there is an adequate supply of materials at the machine.
Monitor rejects during shift. Compile and record all rejects at end of shift.
Complete the machine chart to reflect shift production.
Clean the machine at the end of the shift and as needed during the shift.
Follow applicable OSHA safety regulations etc.
Understand FDA regulations to the operations and consequences of nonconformance.
Maintain a neat, clean and orderly work environment.
Ensures timely completion of work.
Responsible for adherence to all Company policies and procedures.
Works to improve the effectiveness of the quality management system through the use of the quality policy, quality objectives, audit results, analysis of data, corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure proper PPE and Safety procedures are followed.
Qualifications
Highschool diploma or GED equivalent, required.
1 or more years of experience in production, warehouse, or related supply chain function, required
