Overview

Unette is seeking a dymanic leader to head their warehouse team.

 

The Logistics Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining inventory, warehouse, and shipping & receiving functions. Supervises the day-to-day responsibilities of the shipping/receiving coordinators and forklift drivers to ensure an accurate and timely flow of goods and materials through the Unette supply chain – goods receipt, production support, inventory control, and shipping logistics.  Ensure compliance to cGMPs, SOPs, policies and work instructions. The Logistics Manager will have daily interaction with the Director of Operations and Customer Service Representatives and works with all supervision and employees to ensure that cGMPs and SOPs, policies and work instructions are being followed.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all inventory stored is organized and maintained properly.
  • Serves as internal resource to customer service representatives and manages customer shipments.
  • Manages personnel responsible for shipments using customer portals, UPS/Fedex or contacting trucking companies directly.
  • Manages personnel responsible for receiving raw material inventory and ensures accuracy of receipts.
  • Responsible for oversight of internal control procedures including shipping logs.
  • Responsible for oversight of physical inventories by running system generated reports for multiple inventory components.
  • Adjusts system inventory based on results of physical inventory.
  • Researches information pertaining to inventory, as requested, and relays information to internal personnel and/or customers.
  • Composes and produces business correspondence, reports and related materials
  • Reviews internal and external reports for accuracy including inventory, shipping/receiving documents, purchase orders and sales orders.
  • Ensures confidentiality and controls access to sensitive information such as customer files.
  • Responsible for shipping Hazardous materials and responsible for oversight of international shipments.
  • Researches and gathers data for reporting information to other departments within the company.
  • Conducts preliminary analysis of data.
  • Ensures timely completion of work
  • Responsible for adherence to all Company policies and procedures
  • Works to improve the effectiveness of the quality management system through the use of the quality policy, quality objectives, audit results, analysis of data, corrective and preventive actions
  • Addresses complaints and problems, elevates to Leadership when needed
  • Ensures proper PPE’s and Safety procedures are followed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination, required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or related supply chain function, required.
  • Previous supervisory experience, preferred.
  • Experience in managing various levels of employees with different educational backgrounds, work style habits, and employment histories.

Pay Range

USD $70,000.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr.
