Overview

Provide administrative support to the Production Manager, Production Foreman and Line Supervisors.  Provide hourly and daily production reporting to the production and accounting groups.  Investigate and resolve issues regarding reporting. Work with all supervision and employees to ensure that cGMPs and Praxis’ SOPs, policies and work instructions are being followed. Maintain policies and quality standards on the production floor and in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • Provide production line information to the Production Manager - Write down PO, print out Production History and quotes for each Part Number. As needed enter or remove POs into Sugar.
  • Account for direct labor in an hourly basis – using production schedule and physical counts to ensure that line have correct number of employees/temporaries scanned into their lines. Post previous day report showing these statistics.
  • Move completed totes from CS to Production – includes placing them on the shelves prior to shift change and before going home.
  • DLS report – review DLS sheets– correct errors. Once report is received, assemble efficiency reports and post.
  • Print IRRs - Blue: scan, change location and change status. (Per current Work Instruction.)
  • Print Pallet Tags – yellow - scan and change quantity (Per current Work Instruction).
  • Point person for on-line computer problems – if unable to correct issue, contact IT.
  • Main point of contact for Track Wise (TW) related activity.
  • Investigates deviations related to Production.
  • Facilitates Track Wise change controls related to Production.
  • Serves as a backup to Primary Production manager in an TW related meetings.
  • Provide Additional Material Request forms to Warehouse Support.
  • Ensure that black books (equipment books) in forms area are in numerical order.
  • Keep Production Podium Area clean and an adequate supply of forms are available.
  • Troubleshoot problem areas and apply problem-solving techniques for their resolution.
  • Adherence to all Company policies and procedures.
  • Works to improve the effectiveness of the quality management system through the use of the quality policy, quality objectives, audit results, analysis of data, corrective and preventive actions.
  • Instills a sense of quality through modeled quality behaviors and mindset.
  • Assists with Training and Orientation.
  • Elevates complaints and problems, seeks Management assistance.
  • Ensures proper PPE’s and Safety procedures are followed.

Flexibly works other shifts, shifts maybe 8, 10 or 12 hours as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates Degree or equivalent combination preferred.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Certified Line Supervisor, preferred.
  • Basic Mechanical and mathematical aptitude required.
  • The ability to work independently, without supervision required.
  • Ability to organize priorities and workload required
