We have an immediate opening for a Talent Acquisition Manager / Specialist (title can vary depending on experience).

This is a key role within our HR Department that partners with Hiring Managers to identify needs and hire talent that is a fit for our culture & business. It will be responsible for leading the recruitment process and implementing best practices to ensure best talent fits are identified and hired. The role also serves as point of contact to collaborate with the temporary staffing partners and external recruiters, ensuring contingent staffing and/or specialized recruiting needs are met.

 

This is a fast-paced role that requires a great attitude, strong recruiting experience, good understanding of HR practices, flexibility, as well as excellent organization and customer service skills.  This is an on-site role - Remote applicants will not be considered.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage and Administer the Hiring Process (full cycle recruiting) ~ 80% of role
    • Understand Org Charts
    • Handle requisitions for Openings
    • Work with Hiring Managers to create or modify Job Descriptions and recruitment plans/postings
    • Understand compensation levels for roles (utilizing internal & external data)
    • Be the expert on utilizing our HRIS (iCIMS) to post roles and move candidates through the selection process.
    • Lead & coordinate the full Selection Process – resume review, HR Screening, coordinating Interviews, make offers, run background checks, coordinate drug screens, communicate New Hire expectations, hand off information to HR team for Onboarding
    • Create Interview/Selection aides as needed & assist in training Hiring Managers and Selection Teams to ensure fair & legal process that finds best fits.
  2. Create Organizational Announcements for new hires ~ 1% of role
  3. Function as lead contact with Temp Agencies to coordinate use of Temps and any specialized searches they perform for us ~10% of role
    • Complete annual audits of Temp Agencies
  4. Administer “Elevate” program (partnership with W.MI Works) ~ 5% of role
    • Function as Job Coach for Internal Applicants - Utilize JOFI assessment and explain Job Fit to employees looking for promotions
    • Report activities monthly to Elevate partners.
  5. Conduct Exit Interviews with employees in roles that we will backfill – try to find information to assist in making a better fit ~ <1% of role
  6. Administer and track all Org Chart changes – ensure proper Departments are aware of changes ~ 3% of role

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or similar preferred or equivalent combination.
  • 3+ years of Recruiting experience required.
  • Proven experience as a recruiter in a manufacturing or industrial setting strongly preferred.
  • Additional, broader HR experience or HR certification preferred
  • Bilingual preferred

Pay Range

USD $75,000.00 - USD $105,000.00 /Yr.
