We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Facilities Supervisor in the Facilities and Maintenance Department. As a Facilities Supervisor, you will be responsible for collaborating with Praxis Leadership partners to educate, audit and enforce all applicable cGMPs, customer requirements, and Praxis QMS documents (while ensuring the same effectiveness and compliance within the Quality Operations group).

Responsibilities

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading and scheduling work priorities for facility cleaning and building maintenance team.
  • Vendor negotiation with HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, etc.
  • Ensure monthly audits are completed for select facility safety items
  • Ensure applicable building maintenance work orders are assigned and completed on time.
  • Maintains Facilities PM Schedule, and assigns Preventive Maintenance Checklist per schedule.
  • Communicates with and obtains approval from the Maintenance Manager on any issues that may require outside contractors.
  • General safety and security responsibilities and contributions
  • Assist with the execution of the Company’s Security Program
  • Responsible for Sanitation documentation compliance.
  • Supervises and supports a diverse workforce, @ 10 Employees.

 

Performs any other functions and duties assigned and necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of Praxis Packaging Solutions.

Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent combination required.
  • 3-5 years similar experience required.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Strong understanding of employee hygiene and Federal, State and/or local CGMPs and regulation.
  • Basic Mechanical and mathematical aptitude required.
  • The ability to work independently, without supervision required.
  • Ability to organize priorities and workload required.

Computer/Communication Skills:

  • Working knowledge of MS Office programs: Word, Excel, and Outlook, preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) related software, preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written English instruction and specifications, required.
  • Basic comprehension of the English language: reading and writing skills to understand and complete necessary paperwork, required.

 

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

 

Regularly required to walk, stand, bend, twist, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel and crouch. Raise and lower an object from one level to another, less than 10 lbs. Good (corrected) eyesight and hand/eye coordination. Normal office environment with little exposure to dust and weather conditions prevalent at the time (i.e., cold, hot/humid). May also require visits to production area – where employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, dust and weather conditions prevalent at the time (cold, hot/humid). Must be able to work full time. 8, 10, or 12 hours, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift.

 

Pay Range

USD $80,000.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr.
